Caulfield Hospital Community Participation
Community Advisory Committees are a mandatory structure for all Victorian hospitals. Bayside Health in conjunction with Caulfield General Medical Centre has implemented numerous mechanisms for community and consumer participation in health service planning and delivery. Centre for Culture Ethnicity and Health
The Centre for Culture Ethnicity and Health delivers training to primary and community health workers who have either recently begun working with clients from non-English speaking backgrounds (NESB) or are keen to improve the inclusiveness of their service. One of their training programs is Ethnic community and consumer participation in health services. Designed to provide wiorkers with knowledge and skills in developing effective participation processes relevant to NESB communities.

Client Focused Evaluations Program (CFEP)
CFEP is an international organisation which provides health professionals with systematic patient feedback on their interpersonal skills and other service aspects. CFEP is a commercial venture but the website contains useful information about practice examples whereby joint patient/practitioner improvement groups were established in the North and East Devon Health Authority. A report on the establishment of Critical Friends Groups in General Practice is also available from the website.

Community consultation and participation resource kit
The Community Consultation and Participation Resource Kit has been developed to assist NSW Area Health Service Managers and project leaders in establishing and maintaining community and consumer input into planning, policy development and service monitoring.
