It Work: Participate in Health Conference
This conference organised by the Victorian Department of Human Services, aims
"to stimulate discussion, share experiences and, importantly, document the
evidence on how participation 'with us, not for us' improves our health care system".
The conference is free to attend but health providers, researchers and government
employees will be charged for non-attendance. Early registration is advised, so

Developing
Consumer Feedback Mechanisms that are Accessible and Relevant to CALD Communities
and Consumers In
this workshop, held by the Centre for Culture Ethnicity and Health, participants
will learn to:
Develop feedback mechanisms that will obtain high quality, relevant information
form a diverse range of consumers;- Develop
'feedback literacy' amongst a diverse range of consumers;
- Develop
translated surveys, translated consumer information and other translated feedback
materials; and
- Build
consumer feedback into quality improvement processes; and ensure that their organisation
is 'feedback friendly' to the feedback provided by diverse service users.
